Our Brussels-based House of Communication (labeled Great Place to Work) is looking for a Junior Account Manager to join its media agency Mediaplus and serve clients such as Argenta, ALDI, BMW, C&A, Decathlon, L’Oréal, Mars, Mini, Nikon, Shell, and many others.
As a Junior Account Manager at Mediaplus Belgium, you will be responsible for supporting account management activities and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Working closely with senior account managers and other teams, you will assist in managing client relationships, overseeing project execution, and helping clients achieve their marketing objectives through media strategies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in client servicing, project management, and media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Client Relationship Management: Support in maintaining and nurturing client relationships by acting as a key point of contact alongside senior account managers.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of client projects, tracking timelines and deliverables.
- Client Communication: Provide regular updates to clients on campaign progress, answering questions, and escalating issues when necessary.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and media developments to provide insights to both clients and internal teams.
- Administrative Support: Manage account-related documentation, including proposals, contracts, and invoices, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.
- Client Presentations: Help prepare presentations that effectively communicate campaign results and strategic recommendations.
- Learning & Development: Work closely with senior account managers and media consultants to enhance knowledge of digital media platforms, tools, and strategies.
Qualifications and requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a client support role or similar environment, ideally within a digital media or advertising agency.
- Fluent in both Dutch and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Basic understanding of digital media channels, such as social media, display advertising, and search engine marketing.
- Ability to collaborate with different departments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with digital media management tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Google Analytics is a plus.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
