Our Brussels-based House of Communication (labeled Great Place to Work) is looking for a Digital Media Planner to join its team of around 120 employees and serve clients such as: Argenta, ALDI, BMW, C&A, Decathlon, L’Oréal, Mars, Mini, Nikon, Shell, and many others.
Within our House of Communication, the Digital Media Planner will play a pivotal role in creating and executing strategic digital media plans that drive our company's marketing objectives. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling digital advertising campaigns that maximize ROI and enhance our brand's online presence.
Accountabilities
- Media Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive digital media strategies that align with the company's marketing goals, target audience, and budget constraints.
- Media Buying and Optimization: Plan, negotiate, and purchase digital media placements, including but not limited to display advertising, social media ads, video ads, and search engine marketing (SEM). Continuously monitor and optimize media campaigns to ensure maximum performance and ROI.
- Audience Targeting: Identify and define target audience segments, leveraging data and audience insights to tailor ad placements effectively.
- Budget Management: Create and manage media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across different platforms and campaigns.
- Vendor Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media vendors, publishers, and advertising platforms. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and advertising opportunities.
- Ad Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives that resonate with the target audience and align with campaign goals.
- Performance Analytics: Analyze campaign performance data, generate insights, and prepare regular reports to share with stakeholders. Use data-driven insights to make informed recommendations for future campaigns.
- Campaign Testing: Plan and execute A/B tests and other experiments to optimize ad creatives, targeting, and messaging for better campaign performance.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure that all digital media campaigns comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, including privacy and data protection laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Proven experience as a Digital Media Planner or a similar role in the digital advertising industry. (Minimum 2 years of experience)
- In-depth knowledge of digital advertising platforms, ad networks, and media buying.
- Proficiency in media planning and buying tools, as well as data analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital advertising trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Certifications in digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) is a plus.
