You will join the data & Insights team of GroupM, leader in Belgium and Worldwide as largest media investment group. The team is 9 persons strong. We are a passionate and talented bunch of people who love diversity and welcome initiative. Our mission is to deliver actionable insights for our clients to improve their media and communication strategies. To assure our ambitious goals, we have access to tons of data. We provide smart analysis and great visualisations by using advanced data science and state of the art dashboarding. We believe everything is possible as long as you really want it, and we are proud to have some of the best data scientists, analysts and researchers in our ranks locally as internationally.


A clear career path

After a clear training program, you should be able to perform the broad spectre of analysis that help our client managers to improve their clients’ strategies by using all data available. You will have access to Belgians’ finest media research as well as international trend research that you will be able to access via specific sector related media software. You will assist the team in conducting GroupM’s proprietary data solutions to improve the campaign effectiveness of our clients : media effectiveness research, creative assessment and media trend research. You will assist in developing appropriate methodologies, make right analysis and reporting and present to our clients. You will use declarative and behavioural data as well as neuroscience. You will be enabled to assess the data with greatest confidence and thus making the right conclusions, thanks to GroupM’s extensive benchmarks and top-notch data science techniques. Once you get acquainted with the whole GroupM offering, you will get the autonomy to run a series of GroupM’s proprietary research and be entrepreneurial with data and projects.


Knowledge is power

We do not like to waste your time. That is why you will get extensive -on the job- trainings by your direct colleagues. On a monthly base, you can attend internal seminars on diverse hot topics (voice, neuroscience, behaviour science, AI, VR, e-commerce, etc.). You also will be able to participate into sector trainings and initiatives (CommPass Media School, sessions, club33, etc.). You will have the possibility to boost your knowledge even further via self-learning platforms.


Do you recognize yourself?

We are looking for a rising star with a bachelor’s or master’s degree. No special need for working experience. We truly believe talent and attitude beats experience and we love positive ambitious persons. In a fast-moving media environment, we face many challenges and continuous change, so we are thus looking for people who are not afraid to take ownership on projects and give proof of a clear ‘consider it done mentality’. You possess great problem-solving skills. As an important “actor” in the service industry, we expect you to be service minded by nature, but with a good twist of assertiveness. The job requires you to love analysing data. Analytical and mathematical skills are crucial. Being precise is a no brainer. You need to be proficient in Microsoft Office. Having an excellent knowledge of SPSS is a must. To see the big picture, you need to be able to combine analytical skills with conceptual thinking. Being passionate about media is a real must … so are your future teammates. We are looking for a great team player and strong communicator (written and verbal). Being part of a big international group, means that we expect you to be fluent in French, Dutch and English (or at least over time).
