Our Brussels-based House of Communication (labeled Great Place to Work) is looking for a Junior Media Strategist to join its team of around 120 employees and serve clients such as: Argenta, ALDI, BMW, C&A, Decathlon, L’Oréal, Mars, Mini, Nikon, Shell, and many others.

Within our House of Communication, as a Junior Media Strategist you will embark on a dynamic journey in the heart of media and advertising. This role is pivotal in shaping the media strategies that drive our clients' success. You'll be instrumental in crafting innovative media solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technology, and data insights to make a tangible impact in the fast-evolving media landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective media strategies that align with clients' marketing objectives and target audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creatives, accounts, and analytics, to ensure integrated and cohesive campaign execution.
  • Engage in critical evaluation of media vendors, challenging their vision and delivery quality.
  • Utilize various tools and techniques, like Google Analytics and ad servers, to monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and new media channels, advising on their integration into future campaigns.
  • Provide direction and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • A strong foundational understanding of (digital) media, marketing, and brand dynamics.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and programmatic ad buying.
  • Competence in data analysis and tools such as Google Analytics, PowerBI, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in at least two of the following languages: Dutch, French, and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital media strategy or planning or a related field.
  • A demonstrated track record of developing successful media strategies.
  • Experience in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
